1948 Hank Foldberg College All-Stars Game Worn Jersey. A first team All-America selection in 1946 with Army, Hank Foldberg actually began his collegiate career at Texas A&M in 1942, before World War II changed the trajectory of his football career. After graduation, he went on to play two seasons in the NFL, with Brooklyn and Chicago, after which he enjoyed a successful sixteen-year stint as an assistant, head coach, and athletic director at several universities.

Here is Hank's 1948 College All-Stars gamer, a beautiful navy blue nylon durene with ten red felt stars on each silver durene shoulder panel, embedded elliptical elbow pads, original six-button crotch piece, red/white/blue embedded side panels, and "44" on the front and back in seriffed white satin twill numerals. Beautiful tagging includes the gorgeous "May & Halas, Inc...A Bear for Quality" label with "46" and "Dry Clean Only" flap tags. This exemplar shows nice wear but remains in remarkable display condition. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
