Where it all began...

2000 Tom Brady Signed Professional Debut Ticket Stub (Patriots vs. Lions), PSA Authentic - PSA/DNA Auto 9. This eleventh-hour addition to our Platinum Night auction comes too late for inclusion in our printed catalog, but its delivery to our Dallas world headquarters on the day that Tom Brady confirmed the leaks were true necessitated that we shoehorn it in. After twenty-two seasons of service to the professional gridiron, we now know that the last ticket to see the greatest player in NFL history has been printed, except for the Canton model five years from now.

Endings always make one nostalgic for beginnings, and it all started here, in a single offensive series at the Pontiac Silverdome where 77,923 fans watched their Detroit Lions maul the visiting New England Patriots to the tune of 34-9. Brady passed one-for-three for six yards, not even bothering to go for it on fourth down late in the fourth quarter. It was a remarkably unassuming way to begin an unparalleled era of dominance in the National Football League.

The surviving population of stubs from this contest in a PSA holder numbers less than fifteen, of which only two are autographed. While we are virtually certain this is the superior example, both due to the 9/10 assessment of the signature's quality, and the addition of Brady's handwritten "NFL DEBUT" notation just below, we won't take the risk of making that definitive assertion. We'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Though close inspection reveals a degree of handling and storage wear expected for its purpose and vintage, those photos should confirm that this is a relic every bit as handsome as the man it introduced. With the collectible ticket market currently setting records at a pace similar to TB12, we expect that winning ownership of this one will require the same brand of relentless determination that made Brady the undisputed GOAT.
