Description

1998 Marshall Faulk Game Worn Baltimore Colts Jersey with 20+ Repairs from 2,227 Total Yards Season! Marshall Faulk has done it all. A three-time All-American and Heisman Trophy runner-up, he was the second overall pick of the 1994 NFL Draft. During his twelve-year NFL career, Faulk was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, 2000 NFL MVP, and Super Bowl XXXIV champion. He is also a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the pro Football Hall of Fame.

The exemplar offered here was worn by Faulk during the 1998 season when he recorded 324 rushing attempts for 1,319 rushing yards and eighty-six receptions for 908 receiving yards for an NFL-high 2,227 combined rushing and receiving yards with ten touchdowns. The white mesh displays "28" on the front, back, and sleeves, with "Faulk" on the verso nameplate, all sewn-on in blue tackle twill. Ribbed blue/white panels and ribbed white cuffs adorn the arms, with a "Logo Athletic" label, "98" swatch, and "46" flap tag in the tail. Best of all is the tremendous wear exhibit on this jersey, which includes at least twenty team repairs, hit marks, paint transfers, and fraying to the identifiers.

Note: After the 1998, the name was taken off the back, as was customary, and the jersey saw post-season use in O.T.A.'s and 1999 pre-season by defensive back Tito Wooten. Later, the name was restored with an original "Faulk" nameplate. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
