1926 Army vs. Navy Program & Ticket Stub Display - The Opening of Soldier Field. Soldier Field opened its gates for the first time November 27, 1926 when Army and Navy faced off before a raucous crowd of over 110,000. Of course thousands were left on the outside looking in for the game of the year. This listing features two ticket stubs and the game program set inside an ornate, wood frame(30.5x18.5"). Both tickets appear crease free and the program has minor handling wear. Also included is a ticket to the formal dedication of Solder Field, held Nov. 26 at p.m.
