1895 Yale vs. Princeton Ticket Application. While Ivy League football may not carry the same clout now, in the 19th and early 20th centuries, these match-ups were the top shows of the season. In particular, Yale was always a hot ticket. For the collector looking to pick up something a little different than a ticket stub, here is an excellent, and rare, opportunity. This lot features a scrapbook page with a newspaper clipping, a photograph of the Princeton team, and an application blank for undergraduates. The application blank has been filled out with a request for seven tickets to the Yale-Princeton 1895 game, for a total of $14. This is only the second known example to surface. Page measures 9x13."
