Description

Circa 1967 Green Bay Packers Signed "Left Guard" Menu - With Henry Jordan, Willie Wood, etc. Fuzzy Thurston and Max McGee were both key members of the Green Bay Packers dynasty under head coach Vince Lombardi in the 1960s. Thurston, a guard, and McGee, a wide receiver, played crucial roles in the team's success, helping the Packers win multiple NFL championships, including the first two Super Bowls (I and II). Their careers overlapped from 1959 to 1967, making them integral parts of Lombardi's dominant teams.

Beyond their on-field connection, both players were known for their larger-than-life personalities and enjoyed life off the field. McGee, famous for his legendary Super Bowl I performance despite being out late the night before, and Thurston, a charismatic figure on Lombardi's offensive line, became beloved figures in Packers history. Their bond extended beyond football, as they both remained connected to the Green Bay community after retirement, contributing to the Packers' rich legacy.

Offered is a restaurant brochure from McGee-Thurston owned joints signed by Packers legends McGee, Henry Jordan, Willie Wood, and Donny Anderson. Creasing, toning and general wear exhibited. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
