1943 Vince Lombardi Signed St. Cecilia High School Yearbook. Every legendary sports figure starts out somewhere, and for the iconic Vince Lombardi, his unmatched leadership skills originated in the 1940's, as Chemistry teacher and Director of Athletics at St. Cecilia High School in Englewood, New Jersey. Here we present a scarce yearbook from the second of eight years coaching at the high school, and featuring one of the earliest Lombardi signatures ever to hit the hobby. Lombardi used 10/10 ink next to his photo on the faculty page of this gridiron treasure. Additional photos of Lombardi are also presented in this edition of "The 1943 Silverian," as coach of the basketball and football teams. This amazing piece exhibits moderate wear throughout, and is loaded with signatures and notations from additional facility members and students, which add to the provenance of this piece.
