    Description

1940 Vince Lombardi Signed High School Yearbook. The iconic Hall of Fame football coach was just 27 years old when he was hired by his former Fordham University teammate as a coach at St. Cecilia High School in Englewood, New Jersey to help out with the team and to teach Chemistry, Latin and Physical Education. Here we present a scarce yearbook from the first of eight years coaching at the high school. On page 11 we find a small photograph of the youthful legend, signed "Vincent Lombardi" in perfect blue ink. More unsigned photos of Coach Lombardi are found on the pages dedicated to the football team as well. The VG yearbook exhibits light wear throughout, while a portion of the binding is beginning to separate, but remains intact. A unique and very special addition to any important Green Bay Packers collection. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
