Description

1975 Dallas Cowboys Roger Staubach & Drew Pearson Dual-Signed Hail Mary Game Program The "Hail Mary" game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings took place on December 28, 1975, during the NFC Divisional Playoff. The game is best remembered for a miraculous play in the final seconds, orchestrated by Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach and wide receiver Drew Pearson.

With only 24 seconds left and the Cowboys trailing 14-10, Staubach launched a desperate pass down the field from his own 50-yard line. Pearson, tightly covered by Vikings defender Nate Wright, managed to catch the ball at the five-yard line and backpedal into the end zone for the winning touchdown. Staubach later said he closed his eyes and said a "Hail Mary" prayer before throwing the pass, giving the play its legendary name.

The dramatic victory sent the Cowboys to the NFC Championship Game and is considered one of the most iconic moments in NFL playoff history. The term "Hail Mary" has since become synonymous with last-second, desperation passes in football.

Offered is a program from the game signed by both Hall of Famers in black Sharpie. Expected toning and age wear exhibited but overall displays well. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
