Description

1972 Super Bowl VI Program, Signed by Roger Staubach. In their second Super Bowl appearance since the AFL-NFL merger in as many years, the Dallas Cowboys were intent on avenging their three point loss to the Colts from '71's Super Bowl V. In Super Bowl VI HOF quarterback Roger Staubach's star seemed to shine brighter than all others -- his play earned him the right to claim the game's MVP honors as he led his Cowboys to their first of five Super Bowl triumphs. Bob Griese, Larry Csonka and the rest of the Miami Dolphins fell 24-3 that day, a loss that would be their last for a while. Offered here is a fine example of the official program from Super Bowl VI in New Orleans. Inside the front cover Staubach has signed "To Dennis, Best Wishes, Roger Staubach, 12", making this memento that much sweeter. Also featured among these pages are HOFers Tom Landry and Forrest Gregg, playing with the Cowboys for his final season. Minor condition issues include a crease to the upper right corner of the front cover and some slight fraying to the bottom 1/4" of the spine. Neither of these small nuances does much at all to detract from overall display quality. LOA from PSA/DNA.
