1947 University of Michigan Wolverines Team Signed Program - With Early Len Ford Signature (Undefeated Season)! Despite finishing the season with a stellar 10-0 record, the 1947 Michigan squad was ranked second in the AP's regular season poll, but after a convincing 49-0 victory over USC in the Rose Bowl, the Wolverines were selected as the nation's No. 1 team in an unprecedented AP Poll taken after the bowl games.Offered here is a 1947 Michigan vs. Ohio State game program that was presented to "Holiday on Ice" performer Frances Bruno, and it is signed by the roster of the monumental Wolverines squad. Headlined by one of the earliest and nicest exemplars from tough Pro Football Hall of Famer Len Ford we have seen, it includes more than 40 signatures throughout. Overall, the publication exhibits solid quality, while one of the pages and back cover have heavy paper loss from being affixed to a scrapbook. Thankfully the signatures were not affected. Also included is an unsigned 1948 "Holiday on Ice" program, featuring the lucky recipient of the signed program. An amazing lot that will be sure to turn the heads of even the most discerning Michigan collectors. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
