1943 Steagles vs. Green Bay Packers Team Signed (Steagles) Program - With Kiesling, Neal, Hewitt, etc. Forced to combine squads because both teams had lost so many players to military service during WWII, the Steagles was the NFL team that was created by the temporary merger between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles during the 1943 NFL season. Offered here is an extremely rare program from the December 5, 1943 Shibe Park game between the Steagles and Green Bay Packers, and amazingly, it is signed by the Steagles roster.

Highlighted by the ultra-scarce and desirable exemplar on the cover from Hall of Famer and co-coach of the Steagles Walt Kiesling (5/10), it is also signed by the following keys: Greasy Neale (cover); interior pages - Hall of Famer Bill Hewitt, Charlie Sauer, Steve Sader, Roy Zimmerman, Eddie Michaels and others. The book itself exhibits Fair to VG quality, while the signatures average 6-7/10 black fountain pen ink. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC.
