Description

1943 Chicago Bears vs. New York Giants Program - Sid Luckman Throws Seven Touchdowns! The NFL has become a pass happy league. Now passing is the norm while running the ball has taken a backseat. On November 14, 1943, Sid Luckman had a game for the ages. He tossed seven touchdowns in a 56-7 drubbing of the New York Giants at the Polo Grounds. Previously the high mark for touchdown passes was five when Ray Buivid of the Bears did it in 1937. The offered program was sold to patrons entering the stadium that day. Unscored, this EX/MT offering has light spine wear and a few surface marks from years of storage.
