1938 Babe Ruth Signed Army vs. Notre Dame Program. A decade after Knute Rockne's fabled "Win one for the Gipper!" speech ignited an underdog victory for the Fighting Irish, the Babe was in the stands of the House He Built to view yet another edition of the gridiron rivalry. We find evidence of this fact in the 9+/10 pencil signature adorning the official program for the contest. The program exhibits typical handling wear but remains solid and complete.
