Description

1927 Rose Bowl Program. The United Press labeled the 1927 Rose Bowl as "the football championship of America", and the game was considered the most thrilling in the series up to that time. A contest of epic proportions, coach Pop Warner and his Stanford squad faced coach Wallace Wade and the Alabama Crimson Tide in front of 57,417 at Pasadena's Rose Bowl stadium. Each team was undefeated going into the big game, and each came out unblemished, as the game ended in a 7-7 tie.

The first program from the 1927 Rose Bowl we have ever offered, it exhibits extremely clean quality throughout. Scored at the center page in pencil, this fine piece rates EX condition, with no major flaws whatsoever. Great eye appeal on this gridiron rarity.
