1927 Pottsville Maroons vs. New York Yankees Program & 2 Ticket Stubs. Two years after getting snubbed for an NFL title, the Pottsville Maroons were barely surviving financially. From the team's last season in Pottsville is this program from their Nov. 11, 1927 tilt with the New York Yankees. The scored publication has both staples, although the center page is gingerly hanging on. The Yankees featured future Hall of Famers Red Grange and Mike Michalske. A fold transverses the middle of the EX program, most likely for storage in the back pocket. Also included are two crease-free ticket stubs with pencil notations on the reverse.Auction Info
