Description

1925 Chicago Bears vs. Chicago Cardinals Program - Red Grange's Bears Debut! Shortly after his college season at Illinois ended, the Bears owner George Halas and Edward "Dutch" Sternaman signed Red Grange, who was the most anticipated player to come out of college up until that point. Presented here is a rare original game program from Grange's Bears debut - a 0-0 tie to fellow superstar Paddy Driscoll and his Chicago Cardinals. A terrific publication from the 1925 Thanksgiving Day game, it exhibits amazing NM-MT condition, with only the lightest amount of discoloration throughout. Complete and intact, it is unquestionably one of the most highly significant pro football program of the mid 1920's.
