Description
1924 Chicago Bears Game Program. Celebrating its sixth year of existence (and its fourth in Chicago), the Bears issued this tremendously scarce program for a December 7, 1924 meeting with the Cleveland Bulldogs at Wrigley Field, listed as "Cubs Park" on the cover. Though condition is not ideal, with loose and tape stained covers and first and last pages, a vertical center fold and scattered creasing and water staining, the intense rarity of the piece serves to diminish these concerns greatly. Found within its twenty-four pages are glorious photographs of George Halas, a partially completed center score sheet and wonderful period advertising.Auction Info
