    Description

Circa 1955 Steve Owen Signed Photograph. An innovator on both sides of the ball, Steve Owen earned a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as head coach of the New York Giants from 1930-53. The Oklahoma native's skill at designing defenses, his fundamental approach to the game and an innovative "A formation," that helped offenses excel were the keys to his success. This Steve Owen signed 8x10" is unquestionably one of the rarest vintage football pieces offered in our October Signature Auction. Pictured during the 1950's as Philadelphia Eagles assistant coach, Owen signed the NM image in 9/10 black felt-tip ink. A superb representation from the legendary coach of the 1934 and 1938 NFL Champion Giants. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
