1896 Princeton Football Team Imperial Cabinet Photograph. Despite a disappointing 0-0 tie against Lafayette, the 1896 Princeton football program still finished its impressive 1896 season undefeated, en route to winning that season's National Championship. Led by All-Americans "Cochran," William Church, "Crowdis," Robert Gailey, "Smith," Addison Kelly and John Baird the '96 Tigers are presented superbly on this crystal clear original photograph. Measuring at 6.75x8.5", which is inclusive of its mount, this heavy stock piece has the proper "Pach Bros." studio stamp on the bottom, while exhibiting moderate wear.
