Jay Berwanger's Signed Personal Downtown Athletic Club Membership Card - Berwanger Collection. Known as a "one man football team" during his storied career with the University of Chicago, Jay Berwanger will forever go down in the annals of sports history as the first player ever taken in an NFL Draft, and the first ever Heisman Trophy winner. Presented here is Berwanger's membership card to the Downtown Athletic Club, which is the organization responsible for the presentation of the Heisman Trophy.
