Description

Fritz Pollard Signed Index Card. The first African American head coach in the National Football League, Fritz Pollard along with Bobby Marshall were also the first two African American players in the NFL in 1920. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, Pollard was referred to as "one of the greatest runners these eyes have ever seen", by gridiron pioneer Walter Camp. This 3x5" index card has purple pre-printed information which the Hall of Famer Pollard has dutifully filled out with his black ballpoint signature found at the top. Reverse finds a note about his favorite moment on the gridiron. Mild wear exhibited. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
