Description

Circa 1964 Jim Brown & Sam Huff Original Jack Davis Drawing from The Sam Huff Collection. Sam Huff had the unenviable task of trying to corral Jim Brown when the Giants and Browns met up. The two Hall of Famers met more than a few times on the gridiron. This original artwork (12.75x16"/18x21" total dimensions) shows Brown running over Huff. Jack Davis created the masterpiece and it eventually found its way into the collection of author Lou Sahadi. Sahadi eventually gifted this to Huff where it remained until his death. Both combatants are in their familiar uniforms with Brown winning this battle. A letter from Sahadi to Huff and letter of provenance from Huff's daughter are included.
