Description

Circa 1941 Bruce Smith Signed College All-Stars Autograph Book. Unquestionably, serious Heisman Trophy signature collectors will agree that aside from the elusive Nile Kinnick, Bruce Smith is by far the toughest signature to obtain from the category of prestigious collegiate football award winners. A true hero on and off the field, Smith served during World War II as a United States fighter pilot, and also spent time with select groups of military All-Star squads while in the service. This small autograph book (2.5x4") is signed by gridiron stars of the 1940's. "1941 All Stars" is written on the silver cover and "Bears 31 All-Stars 0" is written on the inside back cover. Each of the signatures is created in pencil. Included are: Smith (10/10), Fred Meyer, Bob Westfall, Bill Chadwick, Bob Jeffries, Bob Robertson, Vic Lindskog and more.
