Description

2014 Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship Ring Presented to Defensive End Jimmy Staten.
The moment that should have been the greatest in franchise history turned suddenly horrific, as rookie Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler intercepted what would have been the game-winning pass from quarterback Russell Wilson to slam the door on a the Seahawks' victory. Instead, Seattle would have to settle for rings like this one, a heartbreaking reminder of what could have (and should have) been.

This is the ring presented to rookie defensive end Jimmy Staten, the Seahawks fifth-round pick in the 2014 draft. An emerald-eyed and diamond-studded logo bird commands the face of the ring, encircled by raised text reporting, "2014 Seattle Seahawks NFL Champions." Left shank repeats that claim, with three small diamonds representing each realization of that achievement. Right shank provides Staten's name and jersey number above a twelfth-man flag.

Interior band is stamped "Tiffany & Co. AU .585," indicating fourteen karat (14K) white gold. Size fourteen (14). Weight is sixty-two grams (62 g.).
