Description
The first Seahawks Super Bowl player ring to appear at auction!
2013 Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl XLVIII Championship Ring Presented to Wide Receiver Arceto Clark. A shocking goal line interception the following Super Bowl would slam the door on the 'hawks dreams of back-to-back Lombardi Trophies, confirming the status of this gorgeous ring as the sole Seahawks model to date. It was issued to undrafted free agent Arceto Clark for his service to the Pacific Northwest powerhouse. This showdown of Conference Champions at New Jersey's Meadowlands was the first cold-weather edition of the Super Bowl, and perhaps the most lopsided game in the long history of the event. A safety on the first offensive play from scrimmage supplied the 'hawks with a lead they'd never relinquish--in fact, they'd score thirty-six points before the Broncos managed to record their only score in the forty-three to eight massacre.
A green-eyed logo bird and Lombardi Trophy command the central design atop a sea of genuine diamonds, sandwiched between the words "World Champions." A ring of blue sapphires appears just below, along with the first two appearances of the number "12" to celebrate "The Twelfth Man" of the Seattle fanbase.
Left shank features a diamond-studded Lombardi Trophy set against a Seattle cityscape with the logos of the NFL and Super Bowl XLVIII. Right shank reports the original recipient's surname and the number "12" again. Interior band is heavily engraved: "Leave No Doubt 24/7, SEA 43 DEN 8, What's Next?" Stamping from "Tiffany & Co. AU585" below indicates fourteen karat gold (14K) construction. Size eight (8). Weight is seventy grams (70 g.). Original display box included. Nearly pristine in every regard.
