2007 Brett Favre Game Worn, Signed & Photo Matched Green Bay Packers Jersey from Aaron Rodgers' First Touchdown Game.

UPDATE: Lot title updated to include team name.

"The Green Bay Packers aren't going to win a whole lot with Aaron Rodgers playing quarterback unless things change drastically." Highly respected player and commentator Chris Collinsworth will never live that statement down, broadcast during the second half of a game at Cowboys Stadium on November 29, 2007 as the brilliant and preternaturally durable Brett Favre watched from the sidelines with his throwing arm wrapped in ice.

This remarkable jersey represents the passing of a torch from one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the sport to a man who would, impossibly, prove to be just as great, if not greater. Though the Cowboys would ultimately take the victory, Rodgers left a huge impression on fans and pundits alike, going 18-26 for 201 yards and recording his first career touchdown pass. The unbreakable Favre would return the next week to play out the remainder of his final season in green and gold, but the Rodgers Era would begin in 2008, producing 449 touchdowns, 55,000+ yards, four MVP Awards and a Super Bowl Championship to date.

Favre's white mesh jersey exhibits first-half game wear and is boldly autographed in silver sharpie on verso with "#4" and "#249 Consecutive Game Worn" notations in Favre's hand. A photo from the signing is included in the lot. Interior collar holds "07-52" tagging, while tail tagging has been lost to Favre's standard elasticized hem alteration. The included paperwork from MeiGray validates their photo match to the game that nearly ended Favre's iron man streak, and provided another future Hall of Famer his first chance to shine on the professional gridiron.
