Description
2006 Super Bowl XL Lombardi Trophy Manufactured for Willie Parker. Representing the Pittsburgh Steelers' fifth Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl XL was highlighted by a record 75-yard run by running back Willie Parker, which propelled his team to a 21-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Detroit's Ford Field. Presented here is an original player's Lombardi Trophy, which was produced for Parker. According to our consignor, this was an extra trophy that Parker had ordered, but it was never paid for, and as a result it was rescued by a company staffer and introduced to the hobby.Measuring at an impressive 16", it is properly noted "Willie Parker #39" on the side, while the NFL shield and game information is imprinted on the front. Several scuffs are displayed throughout, but its eye appeal remains extremely strong.
