Description

2003 Carolina Panthers NFC Championship Ring Presented to Greg Favors - With Presentation Box. While improving on their 7-9 record from the previous season, the 2003 Carolina Panthers turned in a successful 11-5 season, and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 14-3, in the NFC Championship Game, which gave the fairly new franchise its first ever Super Bowl birth. In what will go down as arguably the most thrilling Super Bowl in history, Tom Brady's Patriots narrowly defeated Carolina, 32-29, and despite the disappointing loss, the Panthers unquestionably earned the respect of the entire sports world.

Offered here is Carolina defensive star Greg Favors' 14 karat gold ring that he received for his contributions during the historic 2003 season. Accompanied with its original wooden presentation box, the "[size] 11" showpiece is easily one of the most elaborate and stunning NFC Championship rings we have seen, and it exhibits Mint quality throughout. Showcasing a beautiful scattering of original diamonds around its perimeter, it has "Favors LB 53" on one side, while "NFC Champions 2003" is noted on the other side. In addition, it is properly stamped "JOSTENS 14K" twice in the interior band. An absolutely fascinating championship memento from the most exciting season in Carolina Panthers history.
