2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prototype Super Bowl XXXVII Ring.
Super Bowl XXXVII was dubbed The Gruden Bowl as Jon Gruden made his way to Tampa Bay via a trade from the Oakland Raiders. The demonstrative coach was the big winner as he steered the Bucs to the franchise's first Super Bowl victory. This size eleven and a quarter ring was a prototype for the final product. "World Champions" surrounds a team emblem and the Lombardi Trophy on the face. A Super Bowl emblem with the final score is joined by interlocking swords and "2002" on one side. "Glazer To Be The Best 15-4 Owner" along with a team helmet are found on the opposite side. The ring, constructed out of base medal, has tarnished. Weight is fifty-four grams (54g.). A generic black velvet pouch is included.
