2002 Offensive Player of the Year Award Presented to Brett Favre with Favre Signed Letter. Beginning 1969, the Kansas City Committee of 101 awarded gridiron excellence Player of the Year awards. The national committee was comprised of 101 sportswriters and sportscasters who covered the league and selected the top offensive, defensive and coach from each conference.

In 2002, Brett Favre won the prestigious award while he called the shots for the Packers. The team finished 12-4 and was ousted in the first round of the playoffs. Favre was his brilliant self in 2002 as he passed for 27 touchdowns and 3,658 yards.

This thirteen pound statue like figural trophy shows two players battling on a pedestal base. "Kansas City Committee of 101 Brett Favre Green Bay Packers National Football Conference 2002 Offensive Player of the Year" is on a gold placard and applied to the wood foundation which holds the football players. The base has "A Salute To the Men Of Professional Football By The Committee of 101 Of The Chiefs Club of Kansas City" is raised on the the base. Authentication comes via a letter of provenance signed by Favre. One of the most significant trophies ever offered from Favre's personal collection which sold in 2017.
