Description

1998 Barry Sanders Game Worn Detroit Lions Cleats Attributed to 12/27/98 vs. Ravens - Final NFL Game! Game worn Nike cleats from diminutive dynamo's final NFL season and game. Like Jim Brown more than three decades earlier, Sanders quit while he was still at the top, amassing an incredible 1,491 rushing yards and thirty-seven receptions in his swansong season.

The size nine Nike Zoom Air pair offered here features a white leather and blue suede colorway with Velcro straps. Dirt remnants are still visible on the cleats and midsoles, with "20" in vintage black marker on the outer heels. Sanders appears to be wearing these style of cleats in his final NFL game versus the Baltimore Ravens at Ravens Stadium at Camden yards on December 17, 1998, the only time he could have worn this style during the season. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
