Description

1991 University of Michigan Big 10 Football Championship Ring (Player Dennis Washington). The 1991 University of Michigan football team, coached by Gary Moeller, won the Big Ten Championship with a 10-2 overall record and 8-0 in conference play. Led by Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard, the Wolverines dominated the season, earning a Rose Bowl berth, where they narrowly lost to Washington.

This size 12 ring was presented to Dennis Washington who played on the championship outfit. "Big Ten Champions" surrounds a blue stone and "M" team emblem on front. One side has "Washington 24" and Wolverines helmet. The opposite shank reveals "1991 Rose Bowl 10-2" along with an image of a rose. Inner engravings include: "Big Ten Champions 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 Jostens 10k." Weight is 38.2 grams.
