1990 Ty Detmer Heisman Memorial Trophy Salesman's Sample Ring. After becoming BYU's full-time starter in 1989, Ty Detmer emerged as one of nation's top quarterbacks, while passing for 4,560 yards and 32 touchdowns. Detmer's 1990 junior season ranks as one of the greatest in college football history, as he passed for a staggering 5,188 yards and 41 touchdowns - stats that aided him in being named that year's Heisman Trophy winner.

Presented here is a salesman's sample ring, which perfect replicates Detmer's Heisman ring. Genuine diamonds are bypassed for cubic zirconia here, which fill the space surrounding the image of college football's most famous prize. Raised text at perimeter of face reads, "Heisman Memorial Trophy." Left shank reads, "Downtown Athletic Club of New York, Founded 1928," the text framing the club logo. Right shank: "Detmer, BYU, 1990, The Heisman, Since 1935." Again, an image of the Trophy provides graphical allure. Interior band is stamped with the initials of maker Herff Jones and a "10K" gold designation. Ring measures to a size 10.25, and weighs 36 grams, while exhibiting NM condition.
