1981 San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl XVI Gold Pendant. For the first time in Super Bowl history the game was played in a cold-weather city, with the Pontiac Silverdome keeping the cold and snow of Detroit away from the competition. Red hot was San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana, who completed 14 of 22 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown, rushing for another, to earn the game's MVP award.

Presented is an absolutely gorgeous 10 karat gold pendant, which was originally presented to a player's wife or dignitary associated with the San Francisco franchise. A football-shaped faux diamond is presented near the center, while two faux diamonds are at the bottom corners. The words "San Francisco 49ers World Champions" decorate the inner and outer perimeter, while "1981" and "LGB 10K" are lightly stamped on the verso. Light wear is exhibited throughout. A superb memento representing legendary quarterback Joe Montana's first of four Super Bowl victories.
