Description
1970 Baltimore Colts Super Bowl V Salesman's Sample Ring. It may not have been pretty, and despite Cowboys' star linebacker Chuck Howley winning the game's MVP, the Baltimore Colts defeated America's team 16-13 in Super Bowl V. Commonly referred to as the "Blunder Bowl," as the game was filled with poor play, penalties, turnovers and officiating miscues, the memorable contest is represented in this catalog listing in the form of an original Josten's salesman sample ring.Measuring at size 10, the shimmering 10 karat gold (40 grams) showpiece exhibits virtually no wear, while presenting a large faux diamond in the center of the team's trademark horseshoe. Properly marked "JOSTEN'S 10K" in the interior band, the side shank has team general manager Don Klosterman's last name noted above the Colts' helmet. Superb design is showcased on this gorgeous piece of championship jewelry that will be sure to turn the heads of the most discerning Colts collectors.
