1969 Cotton Bowl Classic Championship Rolex Watch Presented to Lineman Charles Rogers.

UPDATE: This text has been amended to note that the 1969 Cotton Bowl represents the end of the 1968 season.

Led by legendary head coach Darrell Royal, the Texas Longhorns breezed through the 1968 NCAA football season, while tallying an impressive 9-1-1 record, which was capped off by a 36-13 victory over Tennessee in that season's Cotton Bowl game. Offered here is a offensive lineman Charles Rogers' stainless steel Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch that was presented to him for his inclusion in the 1969 Cotton Bowl.

Exhibiting heavy wear, with moderate patina on the face, it is still in perfect working order, while including its original stainless steel Rolex band. Letter of provenance from Charles Rogers.
