Description

1966 Green Bay Packers Scouting Reports. Enormous binder (cover measures 15.5x17.5") is labeled "Q.B.'s, Offensive Halfbacks and Fullbacks" and contains all facts and figures used to determine who should be brought to Lambeau. Interestingly, the first player studied is Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Steve Spurrier, with scouts noting "Not decided on Pro Ball," and "Great Poise" among others. Legendary Dolphins quarterback Bob Griese is also considered, with comments like "He is Grt Except in 2 categorys lak of spd & hasnt been trained to throw long." Thirty players in all are profiled, offering the serious football historian a look at the game that few outsiders experience. Wear at the edges does little to detract, and does not affect the functionality of the piece to any degree.
