1966 and 1967 Super Bowl I and II Gold Tie Clips (2). At the time that this duo was issued, we doubt Pete Rozelle's assistant William Granholm would have imagined how large the Super Bowl would become. The annual event's television viewership is amazing, the commercials are intriguing, and there's no question that winning can immediately propel a player's career into elite status. Offered here is a pair of original "Balfour" tie clasps from the first two Super Bowls. Originating from the Granholm family, they are each marked "1/10 10 KGF" on the backs, while NM quality is exhibited throughout. Letter of provenance from the family of William Granholm.
