    Description

    1961-64 Bill Winter Game Worn New York Giants Sideline Cape. Worn on the windy gridiron sidelines of the early to mid-1960's by New York Giants linebacker Bill Winter, this vintage cape wows with its deep blue satin exterior, five-snap front, and zipper hood with shoelace draw strings, all in their original format. "Giants 31" appears on the verso, all sewn-on in white satin twill. Quilted red satin exterior is striking and vibrant, providing a wonderful contrast to the blue. The all important period "Sand Knit" tag is sewn into one of the two interior hand-warming pockets. A fantastic display piece.
