A saloonkeeper, friend and confidante to some of New York's biggest celebrities, Toots Shor played host to the New York Giants football team the night of the 1958 Championship, as is evident from the offered signed menu. Dated "December 28, 1958" multiple times on the menu from his most famous restaurant, which was located on 51 West 51st Street, it presents the following signatures on the front cover: Sam Huff, Don Chandler, Charlie Conerly, Kyle Rote, Frank Gifford, Vince Lombardi, Arthur Daley, Jack Mara, Toots Shor and others.
