1958 New York Giants NFL Championship Pennant. The true surge in popularity for the National Football League began during the 1958 NFL Championship game, which was the first NFL playoff game to go into a "Sudden Death" overtime and is now commonly referred to as "The Greatest Game Ever Played." Presented here is one of only a few New York Giants 1958 championship pennants in existence. Originally purchased at Yankee Stadium during that historic contest, the pennant measures at 29" in length. Displaying terrific colored uncracked printing throughout, it has tack holes at the corners.Auction Info
