1947 Chicago Cardinals NFL Championship Reunion Ring Presented to Halfback John Doolan. Superb representation commemorating the Chicago Cardinals' 28-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1947 NFL Championship Game. Presented to each of the surviving team members during its 50 year reunion (1997), this gridiron treasure was originally issued to halfback John Doolan, who represented the 1947 Champs in his third NFL season out of Georgetown. Displaying solid 10 karat gold throughout, this stunning size eleven (11) showpiece presents a 0.10 ct diamond at the center, while "Chicago Cardinals 1947 World Champions" text surrounds the top red glass stone. In addition, the Championship game score and "Doolan 9-3" are each noted at the side shanks. A truly historic championship player's ring from the gone, but not forgotten, Windy City squad.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
