1934 Steve Owen New York Giants National Football League Championship Gold Pendant. An innovator on both sides of the ball, Steve Owen earned a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as head coach of the New York Giants from 1930-53. The Oklahoma native's skill at designing defenses, his fundamental approach to the game and an innovative "A formation," that helped offenses excel were the keys to his success. Presented here is Owen's 14 karat gold pendant that he received for his contributions as head coach of the 1934 NFL champion New York Giants. Exhibiting minimal wear, it presents "19 Giants 34" in red, "World's Champs" in blue, while "Steve Owen Coach" is engraved on the verso.
