Description

1933 Sport Kings Red Grange #4, Signed. The ultimate signed Grange artifact. While we readily acknowledge that the Golden Age gridiron god is not nearly so tough an autograph as one might imagine, his appearance on the definitive Red Grange trading card makes all the difference in the world, allowing one serious hobbyist to bring his collection to a place where no other could follow. This is certainly the first such specimen we've ever seen, and we would be quite surprised if it's not the last as well. The card shows the typical corner rounding of the era but is otherwise in terrific shape, a technical VG-EX, while the autograph fares even better, rating a solid 9/10 in vintage fountain pen. Slabbed by PSA for the sake of conservation and unquestioned authenticity. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
