    Description

1922 Jim Thorpe's Oorang Indians Wooden Crates Lot of 2.
Led by all-world sports legend Jim Thorpe, the Oorang Indians of the National Football League were put together by Walter Lingo to market his Oorang dog kennels in 1922. With a population of well under 1,000 people, the town of LaRue, Ohio remains the smallest city in NFL history.

Presented here is a duo of Oorang Indian wooden crates, which originate from the amazingly historic "Missouri Find" of Thorpe/Indians pieces that took place only a couple years ago. Each piece is stamped with "James F. Thorpe" and the Oorang's logo. Measurements on the heavily used boxes are as follows: 4x4x10.5" and 8x15x6.5".
