    Description

National Football League Alumni Ring. Impressive for both its aesthetics and for the brotherhood it denotes, the offered ring was presented to quarterback Tom O'Malley, who saw a single game of action as Tobin Rote's back-up for the 1950 Green Bay Packers. Football imagery dominates the face, with a diamond-studded gold football set upon a blue stone, lined by the text, "National Football League Alumni." The left shank provides a chaotic action scene and the text "NFL Founded 1920," while the right offers a clever mode of identifying the ring as O'Malley's, with his name applied to the shoulders of a miniature player, and his number engraved on the back of that player's helmet. An "NFL Alumni" logo appears on the center of the jersey. Maker's mark "Jenkins 10K" appears inside the band, which measures out to a size twelve. An eye-catching keepsake, and a ring that rarely finds its way into the hobby.
