Late 1960's Jim Otto Game Worn, Signed Oakland Raiders Jersey - With Otto LOA (14 Team Repairs)! Despite not receiving interest from any NFL team, due to his undersized stature, Jim Otto was drafted in 1960 by a proposed Minneapolis AFL franchise. But, when the Minneapolis contingent opted for the NFL instead of the competing league, Otto's rights were defaulted to the AFL's Oakland Raiders.

After being signed by the Raiders in 1960, the center from Wausau, Wisconsin worked diligently to build up his body to his playing weight of 256 pounds. And after ten seasons in Oakland under his belt, Otto will forever be remembered as one of the players in history at his position, and even made wearing the odd combination of "double zero" fashionable.

Presented here is a remarkable white Durene Raiders jersey, which is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Otto, himself. Exhibiting heavy wear throughout with some excess fraying in the fabric, the proper faded black tackle twill identifiers are displayed on the front, back and sleeves. In addition, the crotch piece is cut from behind, and as a result, no tags remain. The name on back once read "J. Otto," but only the two Ts remain.

Signed and inscribed "Game Used" on the back in bold silver ink, this is one of only a few authentic Durene Otto gamers ever to hit the auction block. Letter of provenance from Jim Otto. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA for autograph on jersey. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (Letter of Provenance). Full LOA from SGC Authentic for autograph on jersey.
