Late 1960's/Early 1970's Bart Starr La Crosse Sneakers Cardboard Advertisement Displays, With Deadstock Shoes. Way before Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Bo Jackson were peddling sneakers through Nike, Green Bay Packers legendary quarterback Bart Starr had his own endorsement deal with the "LA Crosse" sneaker company. Featuring a style that resembles Chuck Taylor or Keds shoes of the 1960's and 1970's, here we present a quartet of Mint La Crosse cardboard shoe displays. With three measuring at approximately 10x13" and one at 9x22", this scarce quartet includes an original deadstock pair of red "[size] 12" Starr-endorsed La Crosse sneakers. For the advanced Packers collectors who thought they had everything, this lot will be sure to brighten up any vintage gridiron display.
