Description

2004 Michael Strahan Game Worn New York Giants Helmet - Photo Matched to 9/19 vs. Redskins With Pat Tillman Sticker. Not since Lawrence Taylor had a New York Giants defender struck such fear into the hearts of opposing quarterbacks, each man claiming NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors, multiple Pro Bowl appearances, at least one Super Bowl Championship, and eternal glory within the hallowed halls of Canton.

Presented here is a highly desirable style Strahan gamer, as it features the significant Pat Tillman mourning sticker on the back. An historically significant shell, it was worn during the Giants' first two games of the regular season, including Week 2 (9/19 vs. Redskins), which was the only week the entire NFL wore the Tillman decal. Exhibiting moderate scuffs on the exterior, and heavy rubbing, sweat stains, etc. in the interior, it has the proper No. 92 decal next to the left ear hole, and No. 92 decals at the rear. Helmt was originally obtained by our consignor from former Giants equipment managers Joe and Ed Skiba. LOA from Resolution Photomatching. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
